As IT governance lead, helped implement a six-gate project lifecycle, defined project levels and ran gate reviews across the portfolio. Administered WorkOtter, the company's PPM tool, built program roadmaps, and mentored new and junior PMs.

Agree on scope, sponsor and project level before work starts, so the right amount of governance applies.

Financial Alignment

Confirm budget, CapEx and OpEx with IT Finance before the team commits to a plan.

Planning

Build the roadmap with the people doing the work: requirements, dependencies, risks and vendor commitments.

Gate 4

Construction & Acceptance

Build and test in sprints or phases with visible status, and get sign-off that the work meets requirements.

Gate 5

Launch Readiness

Confirm cutover plans, training, support handoff and change approval before anything goes live.

Gate 6

Closure

Hand off to operations, close out vendors and budget, and record lessons so the next project starts ahead.
